Terms and Conditions

Please read these key terms & conditions (Terms) carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any products from our site.  

Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these Terms. If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to order any products from our site

Credit Card Payments

When placing an order, the address given must be the same as that registered with your credit card company. To process your order more efficiently, we also request a telephone number. Please note, we never disclose customer information to any third party, with the exception of our delivery partners.

We accept payment via major Debit Cards, Credit Cards and via PayPal.

Unfortunately we cannot accept VISA ELECTRON or SOLO for Mail or Internet orders.

Order Confirmation & Contract of Sale

You will receive an email to confirm your order at the point of placing an order, as soon as your payment has been accepted. A contract of sale is in place once your account has been charged. On the rare occasion that we discover an item is no longer available after charging a customer’s account, we reserve the right to either refund in full and cancel the sale, or offer a suitable alternative item.

Delivery Method & Time Frame

We only display items on the website that we currently have in store or in our stockroom and in most cases, you will receive your item(s) within 3 working days from the point of placing an order. If you need your items by a particular date, please let us know by using the additional shipping notes.

For guaranteed next day delivery your order must be placed before 1pm (GMT) Monday – Friday. We will try our best to despatch orders placed after 1pm but can’t guarantee their delivery. Orders placed on the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday.

Morning delivery and weekend delivery may be available with a surcharge, depending on stock location and delivery post code. If this is required please call us on: 01473 487474 to discuss.

International Deliveries

Customers outside of the EU are responsible for paying all taxes and duties. These are not included in our delivery charges and are usually invoiced by the delivery company that we use.

Returns

All return orders need to be sent back to us well packaged and safe for transit. Items damaged due to insufficient protection may be rejected or charged a restocking fee. Items packaged in a box (e.g. ski boots) must be returned in an outer box or bag for protection. The postage label must not be applied directly to the product packaging. Orders need to be returned with the specified returns period; items returned after this may not be refunded.
Customers are responsible for the return shipping charges. We recommend you use Royal Mail and get a proof of postage.

Customer’s Right To Cancel

According to the Distance Selling Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order up to a maximum of 14 days from the day after you receive your goods. You must notify us of intent to cancel in writing, by contacting us at: Active SnowSports, Suffolk Ski Centre, Bourne Hill, Wherstead, Ipswich, IP2 8NQ, or via email: sales@activesnowsports.com. Any return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer and goods must be returned unused and packaged safely for transit.

Exceptions & Guarantee

Due to the very personal fitting implications inherent in the purchase of ski boots and snowboard boots, we recommend that you buy these goods in person in store and receive the benefit of our free fitting service.

If you do wish to purchase online, please make sure you have tried on the boots in-store and have identified the product as suited to your aspirations.

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices immediately if there is any further change in the VAT rate or if there is a major change in the value of the pound against other currencies which could affect some imported items. On the rare occasion that a customer places an order for a product on the website that is displaying an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refund any money paid and cancel any contract of sale in place, if a more suitable agreement cannot be made.

Please note that the actual colour of some items may differ slightly from the photographic representations shown on this internet site. Whilst we endeavour to thoroughly test all hardware products on this site, it should be noted that descriptions of performance and suitability are purely subjective.

Liability Statement

Skiing, snowboarding, and other related activities are potentially hazardous. It is the individual’s own responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with safe participation in these activities and to fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of the items listed on Active SnowSports website.

Email Policy

Active SnowSports and Suffolk Leisure Park, do not condone SPAM emails, however, from time to time we send out email newsletters for our key events and offers. The only email addresses we keep on record for these email newsletter are from our own customers who did not ‘opt-out’ before the December 2003 Legislation or those who ‘opted-in’ after that date.  If you do not wish to receive any further emails from us please reply to one of our messages, asking us to remove your email address.
